Declining The Ram Mandir Invite
Sadly, the Congress is alienating itself by declining the Ram Mandir Invite, a case of Sonia, yet so far. It may not have much brownie points to gain too from some sections of the minority communities it is hoping to be in the good books of.
It May Not Have Hurt The Congress To Attend
With almost the entire country (barring the pseudo-seculars and the die-hard Marxist historians) either in favour of the new Ram Mandir or at worst, neutral to the ceremony, it may not really have hurt the Congress to have taken part.
Watering Down The Little Traction
But by categorically declining the invitation, maybe the Congress is also undoing the little traction it may still have.
